Gorkha
Ghorkha is one of the popular destination for tour and trekking. It is 125 km far from Katmandu. It is the first kingdom of Nepal. Prithavi Narayan Shah was born in this place At the beginning and later he unified all the small kingdoms in one kingdom and made the main kingdom in Katmandu. There are two kinds of palaces (high and low). This place is inhabited by nine ethnique groups that is why it is very rich in culture and religion. You can visit one of the popular temple called “ Manakamana” as well. This Place is divided into two (old and new) city. Ram Shah the grand father of king Prithavi Narayan Shah was the person who had made weighting system rules( Mana Pathi and kilogram) etc. From here you can see several beautiful view of Lang tang Range, Manaslu, Dhaulaghiri and Annapurna range which makes your trekking and tour more Interesting and unforgettable. You can see living god in Ghorkha which is located new the palace and Goraknath cave as well.
