This is another classic trek in the Annapurna region. It is relatively a short trek that can be completed in as little as 14 days. The trail up the Modi Khola passes through dense forest of rhododendron and bamboos by the time a huge rock overhung, known as, Hinku Cave, is reached. When you enter into the sanctuary you’ll find yourself in a huge amphitheatre enclosed by a solid wall of snow capped peaks which include Annapurna I, II, III, IV and Machhapuchhre (Fish tailed mountain).
