Dhaulagiri Region
Dhaulagiri is one of the best and popular camping trekking it is located in the western part of Nepal which starts from beni and ends at Marpha.Mount Dhaulagiri (8137m), the seventh highest peak in the world, rises above the Kali Gandaki River.From this route we can see different sorts of flora and fauna,the very poor Nepalese life style,various magnificient scenery of snow capped mountains and the annapurna ranges. This trek is recommended for experienced high altitude trekkers in very good physical condition. The trek is possible only from September to November and March to Mays due to excessive snow and ice conditions in the winter and spring. The area is specially virgin territory for trekkers providing some extremely dramatic contrasts.
