Kanchanjunga Base Camp Trek

Kanchanjunga is the third highest mountain of the world which lies in the eastern part of Nepal . This area is inhabited by a variety of ethnic groups. The trail follows the ever narrowing gorge of the Tamur river through a number of small villages mostly inhibited by Limbu & Chhetri of particular interest is the village of  Chirawa where the wooden pots used for drinking the fermented millet drink Tongba are made . The route passes through &one dense forest that is home to a variety of wildlife including leopard, deer with the beautiful views of mountains & unspoiled alpine flora.
