The breathtaking trans-Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa & the overland route from Lhasa to Nepal border offer truly spectacular views of the Himalayas, high mountains passes, ancient monasteries, fortresses & a people & culture of a bygone era. The trip can beorganized either fly in / drive out or drive in / fly out depending on client's interest and time frame. 3 Night /4 Days Lhasa Cultural Tour

Suggested Itinerary:

 

• Day 01: (Sat) Kathmandu (1100m)-Lhasa (3600m). Fly to Lhasa crossing over the panoramic Himalayan ranges. Transfer to hotel. Full day rest for acclimatization.

• Day 02-03: (Sun-Mon) In Lhasa. Two full days sightseeing tour in Lhasa including Jokhang temple,  Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace, Drepung and Sera Monasteries.

• Day 04: (Tue) Lhasa-Kathmandu.Transfer to the airport and fly back to Kathmandu

 

7 Night / 8 Days Explore Lhasa Tour

Suggested Itinerary:

• Day 01: (Sat) Kathmandu-Lhasa.Fly to Lhasa crossing over the highest Himalayan ranges of the world. Transfer to hotel. Full day rest for acclimatization in Lhasa

• Day 02-03: (Sun-Mon) In Lhasa,Two full day sightseeing tour to Lhasa including Jokhang temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace, Drepung & Sera Monasteries.

• Day 04: (Tues) Lhasa -Shigatse. Scenic drive to Shigatse, the west of Lhasa via Yamdrok Lake crossing over the 4,800 m. Kambala Pass & 5010m. Karola Pass. Stay Overnight at hotel.

• Day 05: (Wed) Shigatse-Gyantse. Morning sightseeing tour to the Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery.Drive to Gyantse and visit the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monasteries.Stay Overnight at hotel.

• Day 06-07: (Thu-Fri) Gyantse-Tsedang.Full day drive from Gyantse to Tsedang & stay overnight at hotel. Next day visit Samye Monastery, Yumbu Lakang & Tombs of  Tibetan Kings, etc. Stay Overnight at hotel

• Day 08: (Sat) Tsedang-Kathmandu. Early morning drive to Gonggar airport for departure flight back to Kathmandu.
