Annapurna Sanctuary
This is another classic trek in the Annapurna region. It is
relatively a short trek that can be completed in as little
as 14 days. The trail up the Modi Khola passes through dense
forest of rhododendron and bamboos by the time a huge rock
overhung, known as, Hinku Cave, is reached. When you enter
into the sanctuary you’ll find yourself in a huge amphitheatre
enclosed by a solid wall of snow capped peaks which include
Annapurna I, II, III, IV and Machhapuchhre (Fish tailed mountain).
It is advisable you to allow two weeks to fully appreciate
the high altitude scenery.
