Trekking in Nepal
Nepal is a trekker’s paradise. One can trek along the beaten
trails or virgin tracks in the mountains. There is something
to experience while in trekking trip - the magnificent tumble
of great snow, great ridges carpeted in alpine flowers,
forest of Rhododendrons, isolated hamlets, small mountain
towns, flora and fauna, temples, monasteries, many ethnic
groups of people. Trekking can be organized from March-June
& August-December. Kathmandu Valley Trek (Short
Trek) The Kathmandu Valley
Rim is developed as an ideal destination for family and
beginners. This nice trek begins from Kathmandu to the serene
forests and countryside on the north west of Kathmandu.
The walk follows the ridge that outlines the Kathmandu valley
with superb view of the surrounding landscape and snow caped
range from Mt. Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh to Langtang.
Shivapuri
Trek.
Nepal is one of the best destination of the planet for Trekking
and Tour.Every year most of the people of the world visit
Nepal for trekking and Tour.There are many intresting places
in Nepal for short and long Trekking and among them Shivapuri
trek is one of the intresting and nice destination for those
people who haven’t sufficient time and want to do the shortest,intresting
and easy trek in Nepal.From this trekking you can see the
beautiful Himalayan views of the Langtang range. You will
walk mostly shivapuri watershed forests and villages during
your trekking time. Shivapuri hill (2729m) is the highest
point of this trekking. From the top of Shivapuri, can see
western mountain Manaslu, Boudha himal, Ganesh himal range,
Langtang range, Dorjeelakpa, shisapangma and Gaurishankar.You
can do this trek within 1 or 2 days.In this we first drive
to Budhahilkantha by cab.Budhanilkantha is a key destination
for Hindu and Buddhist where you can see the huge statue of
the god Vishnu sleeping in the pond.Here you can observe the
religious activities and then we have to climb up the hill
through a dence forest of the Shivapuri National Park which
takes about 4 hours to get on the top. On the way of this
trek you can visit the beautiful nunnery monastery with the
wonderful scenery of the kingdom.
Itinerary: Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu.
Day 02: Visit Budhanilkantha temple and
treak to shivapuri and back to hotel in kathmandu.
Day 03: Departure to Airport.

Around Kathmandu Valley
01 Kathmandu-
Chisapani (2200m): About an hour of drive to sundarijal
and the trek to chisopani through Shivapuri watershed and
wildlife reserve. After a short climb up trail enters inside
the reserve where the reserve where the reserve permit will
be issued. After few hours of treak up through the villages
ans light forest it reaches the top ans then trek descend
to Chisopani. It takes 5 hours in total.Chisapani where we
can spend our time by seeing the Annapurna, Lantang and Everest
Range with the suit temperature .
02. Chisopani- Nagarkot (2175m):
The trek goes through the forest ans villages. After
the trail to Nagarkot the several typical Tamang village.
After crossing the Kattike village the trek climb up to Nagarkot.
It is the best sunrise and sunset viewpoint.It takes 5 hours
to arrive there.
03. Nagarkot –Dhulikhel (1550m):
After looking the sunrise view the trek the begning trek beging
to achieve our next destination. It takes about 5-6 hours
of trekking to get there. Between Ngarkot and Dhulikhel the
trek goes through the green forest, rice field and many diffrernt
traditional villages including Nala. Dhulikhel is also the
best place to see the mountains.
04. Dhulikhel –namo Buddha:The
trail goes up to the through the stone staircase from where
we can see our next destination Namo Buddha . A fter going
down and up the villages we arrive in Namo Buddha .The trek
is 4-5 hours longer .There is very popular Buddhist monastery
in Namo Buddha.
05 .Namo Buddha –Panauti (1447m):
The trek goes through the green forest and then passing through
the fields and the villages arrive panauti. It is very famous
and ancient city where the temple of panauti Devi is situated.
The trek takes 3-4 hours.
06. Panauti – Kathmandu (1350m):
Get up in the morning and have breakfast and drive back to
kathmandu. It takes 2 hours of drive to Kathmandu.
Nagarkot
Trekking/ Hiking.
Kathmandu
is the main kingdom of Nepal and Nagarkot is the famous destination
of the valley for the Sunrise,Sunset and the magnificient
view of the Langtang range which is 32 km from the kingdom.In
the morning after having breakfast we drive by car through
the Arniko Highway to Changu Naraya (The Ancient Hindu Bishnu
Temple). The car goes through the ancient Bhaktapur city .We
can spend an hour there by seeing the ancient Chhangu Narayan
temple and the typical Newari village. After that the hike
goes up to Telkot through the villages with the fine views
of Katmandu valley. From Telkot we can see the Sankhu / Salinadi
side. It has its own importance in Hinduism .Again hike continues
go up to Nagarkot passing the several village.Nagarkot is
situated on the top of the hill where many lodges are available.From
here you can see the beautiful scenery of the valley and white
mountain view of the langtang range.This hiking can be done
as follows.
Day01: Arrival and transport
to hotel and overnight stay there. After your arrival in Katmandu
, you will be driven to the hotel By car and given short explanation
about your planning in the evening.
Day02: Drive to Changunarayan
and walk to Nagarkot and stay overnight there. The next day,
after having breakfast we will drive you to Changunaran This
is the oldest temple of the valley which was built by King
Mandev.Than you have to walk to Nagarkot with a guide beautiful
view of the country side and it takes about 4 hours to get
Nagerkot. We will stay overnight there.
Day03: Drive to Bhaktapur and back to Hotel.
This day the guide will take you to the Nagarkot tower which
is the Famous place for sunrise, sunset and lovely view of
mountains after having The scenery view of the mountain. we
will back to the hotel and have Breakfast We will drive you
to the very old city of the valley called Bhaktapur Durbar
square Then we will drive you back to the hotel and Overnight
stay there.
Day04: Departure to Airport.
