Valley
Itinerary:
Day 01: Katmandu to Dhunche:{1,950m}
On this day We drive about six hours by local bus or private
Jeep on a paved highway that twists and climbs over ridges
to the Trishuli valley.On the way to Dhunche we can see various
intresting scenery of the countrysides.
Day 02: Dhunche to Syabru Village:{2087m}
After having breakfast We descend to the Syabru River and
after crossing it, the trail slowly ascends for two hours.
During lunch we are rewarded with magnificent views of Mt.
Ganesh Himal and Pine to Rhododendron forest to reach Syabru
village and we spend a night there.
Day 03: Syabru village to Lama hotel :{ 2280m}
Today we begin our trek green through forest and then climb
about one hour to bamboo village which is laocated on the
elevation of 1850m. We take a short break For lunch here and
continue our journey to Lama hotel.It takes about 5 hours
to reach there.
Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430m):
From here the way passes through dense rhododendron and pine
forests and gets Ghore Tabala where we take Lunch.On the way
to Langatang village we can see the beautiful views of the
green hills and if we are lucky we can see some wild animals
too.we have to show our trekking permits on the way to Lana
tang village.We get there within 6 hours and stay overnight.
Day 05: Langtang to Kyanjing gompa:{3700m}
The trek continues for about four hours to Kyanjing gompa.Kyanjing
gompa is a small and beautiful village where we can visit
a very old monastery.Most of the people of this area are uneducated
and mainly believe in wizard for treatment if they became
sick.from here you can see the wonderful views of Ganchenpo
and Langtang Himal.
Day 06: At Kyanjing Gamma
Here we have free time for hiking and during the day we explore
around the village .On this day you can see the beautiful
Monestery, the life stlyle of the Tibetan people and we spend
overnight there.From here we can see the beautiful scenery
of Lamgsisa, Bhairab Takura, Dorgee Lhakpa,Yala and Lirung
etc.
Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel
Trek back by the same trail.
Day 08: Lama hotel to Syabru Hotel
Trek back by the same route.
Day 09: Syabru village to Kathmandu.
Trek back by the same route.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Thulo syabru
The trail slowly descends about 2 hours and then the way ascends
to thulo syabru.On the way we have to cross a river called
Ghopche Khola.We arrive at Tholu sybru within 5 hours.If the
weather is clear we can see a very nice view of Ghanes Himal
and the green valley.We stay overnight there.
Day 09: Dhunche to Singgompa
(3250m)
This is a day when we head to Singgompa which is the main
attraction at Chandanbari.We have to go through a forest.We
can get several lodges and a small cheese factory in Singgompa
and spends overnight.
Day 10: Singgompa to Gosaikunda
(4380m)
From Singgompa the path gradually climbs up to Gosaikunda.
On this day you can see the magnificient scenery of Langatang
valley, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal etc.There are
several lakes at Gosaikunda among them Gosikunda lake is popular
which is considered as holy lake where people come to take
bath which is believed to remove the sin from the soul. It
is the main of destinations of this trek.
Day 11: Gosaikunda to Dhunche
(2030m)
After spending a wonderful night in Gosaikunda we gently descend
Dhunche through Lauribinayak.We point the places on the way
back which might have been missed while climbing up. After
we get to Dhunche we stay overnight.
Day 12: Dhunche to Katmandu
We drive to Katmandu from Dhunche by local bus or private
jeep which takes maximum 6 hours and stay overnight in a hotel
in Katmandu.
Day 13: Departure Transfer:
We say goodbye and drop you to the airport for your further
destination

Ganesh Himal Trek
Between Kathmandu and Pokhara there are three major groups
and peaks: Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu and Himal Chuli
and the large Annapurna Himal. This trek is recommended by
many trekkers though it is not as popular as Annapurna and
Everest. It is famous for Tamang culture, rhododendron forest
and it is a convenient distance from Kathmandu.
