25th January, 2016 - Posted By:Janakpur is also known as Janakpurdham.It is 120km far from Kathmandu.It is situated in the Terai Region.It is in the Province No 2.It is just 20 km far from the India.Janakpur is the Sub-Metropolitan City in Dhanusa District.The Climate of Janakpur is humid Sub-Tropical.The Janakpur is religiously very important to Hindus.This Land is birth Place of Sita(Ram’s Wife).Ram is believed to be the incarnation of Lora Vishnu and Sita is believed to be the incarnation of Goddesh Lakshmi.This holy Place of her marriage with Loard Ram.In the Janakpur area there are more than seventy Ponds so it is also known as City of Ponds.
