Useful Info

Best Season for the tour:

All months of the year are suitable for visiting Annapurna Base Camp, except the monsoon season, which runs from July to mid-September. During this time, clouds obstruct the vistas and make helicopter landings and take-offs extremely difficult.

While the mornings are clear for vistas and Heli flights, the afternoons of March through May can be a little bit colder. Although the weather is clear and pleasant from October to January and February, it can get significantly colder in the morning and afternoon in places with shade.

In the mid-hills of the Annapurna Himalaya region, rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal, and other wildflowers are in full bloom from March to May, casting riots of color across the verdant Annapurna hills.

The days are short with sunlight in Autumn/Fall and Winter, and early and late afternoon can be chilly at less than -5° to -10° Celsius with a maximum of 15° to 20° Celsius on sunny days and afternoons. Late November to mid-February usually has clear skies during the day.
