Overview

Annapurna Circuit Trek is an another Popular Trekking trail of Nepal. It is an amazing walk through diverse landscape and culture Complete with rich mountain vistas, terraced fields and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The dramatic views of Snow covered mountains and the lifestyle of ethnic inhabitants Gurung and Thakali from  the region are the main attractions of this trek. You Cross Thorong – La (5416m) with an outstanding views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri and the Mustang valley.

Around Annapurna Jomsom Trekking Difficulty

The difficulty increases if you trek during the monsoon season. You need to be Careful with your Steps. If you trek there in January, it’s covered with Snow So, it may difficult to find the trail Sometime. Therefore, it is best to avoid trek there in the Monsoon and in Winter. If you are a beginner. If you are an well experienced trekker, then you are sure to enjoy in any seasons.

Day 07: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4420m.)
Day 08: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La
Day 09: Muktinath to Jomsom
Day 10: Jomsom to Pokhara flight
Day 11: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 12: Final Departure

Itinerary

Day Day01Kathmandu – Bensishahar

You drive to Bensishahar approx 8 hrs and stay Overnight.

Day Day02 Bensishahar – Chame (2670m)

On the next day, you drive by  jeep to Chame approx 9 hrs and Stay  Overnight.

Day Day03Chame – Pisang (3200m)

The trail goes through the deep forest in a Steep and narrow valley, crossing a river on a long bridge at 3040m. You can have the fantastic view of Pisang Peak and Annapurna ranges. It takes approx 6 hrs and Overnight in a Tea House

Day Day04 Pisang – Manang (3540m)

The trail leads a steep ridge that extends into the valley. On the way,You can see the excellent views of Manang Valley with Tilicho Peak (7132m). The trail crosses the Marshyangdi on a large wooden bridge near Mungji at 3360m then traverses to Braka, a Tibetan Style village consisting of about 200 houses and finally arrives at Manang.

Day Day05Manang (Acclimatization Day)

You spend a day in Manang village to acclimatize and explore Manang. From here You can see the excellent views of the Annapurna II, Annapurna III and Gangapurna Lake etc. and Overnight at lodge

Day Day06Manang – Yak Kharka (4350m.)

Here the trail ascends gently all the way to Yak Kharka Passing through the Gunsang (3960m.) village approx 3 and ½ hrs. En route, you can see Panoramic views all the day and Stay Overnight at lodge.

Day Day07Yak Kharka – Thorong Phedi (4420m.)

Here, you Continue your trek to Thorong Phedi (4420m), takes approx 3 and ½ hrs. Leaving Yak Kharka, you gradually climb to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi and Crossing via Covered wooden bridge. After a short ascent up the mountain Path on the right bank, you follow a narrow trail across an unstable Spree slope and then descend to Thorong Phedi and  Stay overnight at lodge.

Day Day08Thorong Phedi – Muktinath (3,750m) via Thorong La Pass (5416m)

Today, you Start quite early the trail climbs up from Phedi to high Camp and continues to the Pass with an excellent view of the Snowcapped mountains. You reach there to the top and once you cross the Thorong – La. the way continually descends to Muktinath and you can see the dramatic scenery of Mustang valley along with Mt. Dhaulagiri ( 8167 m).

Day Day09 Muktinath – Jomsom (2,743m)

Here you walk all the way down to Eklebhatti and continue trek to Jomsom approx 6 hrs,. where you end your walk  and Stay overnight in a Tea house.

Day Day10Jomsom – Pokhara (822m) (by flight)

Once you complete your breakfast you just check in to the airport and fly to Pokhara which is around 20 minutes flight with an extraordinary views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Nilgiri and many more and stay  Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara

Day Day11Pokhara – Kathmandu(822m)

After having breakfast you just go to the bus station and drive to Kathmandu which takes around 7-8 hrs.Once you arrive there in Kathmandu you just check in your Hotel and in the evening you enjoy with Nepalese farewell dinner with typical cultural Programme.

Day Day12Hotel – Airport

Here, you will be Picked up from your Hotel very much on time and you drive to the airport for your departure.

Useful Info

Required equipments and useful tips for your Trekking/ Hiking Tours:

The Hiking /Trekking generally goes through the high Himalayan passes, it may covers with full of snow so, we advise you to accompany a porter to carry your necessary stuffs. The porter usually carries 18 kgs of your luggage.We also expect you to carry a regular backpack for your valuables and required goods.

We as a travel operator suggest you to bring the basic clothing and accessories to the trek and the remaining  you can just leave/store at Himalayan Abode Trekking or at your Hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara for free. Here are the basic list of usual equipments regarding your Trekking/ Hiking duration.


Sun hat or Scarf
