It takes around 15 minutes to drive from the stunning lakeside city of Pokhara to Phedi Village, where the journey to Dhampus Village starts. Tukuche Peak (6,920 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) are incredibly close to you, making Dhampus Peaks an excellent place to watch the mountains due to the stark elevation contrasts between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Trekking from this location offers stunning views of the golden rice terraces spread across the enormous Annapurna Mountain range. This two-hour ascent to Dhampus continues to the village of Chandrakot across an amazing rhododendron woodland that serves as a breeding ground for numerous bird species.

You can marvel at the breathtaking vista of the enormous Mt. Machhapuchhare as you emerge from the jungle and arrive at Dhampus.
